Mawddach Estuary

The weather didn't improve much all week, but at least the boy did manage to do some fishing. All he caught was weed, but the thought was there!

The Mawddach is a truly beautiful spot - and can you spot the Sleeping Giant? It's said that he will rise up if ever Wales is in peril, and no doubt save the day!! It was amazing how quickly the tide came in as we walked up the estuary - the boat in this photo was floating again by the time we got back to the car.
