Luck of the Irish

The river hadn't risen much overnight although it had rained in the night. The fish were not happy though. Apparently the pressure was dropping fast and they don't like that. We saw a few, but couldn't find any silly enough to take our flies.

A grey and drizzly day and the tail end of a hurricane was on its way. Still, we had fun and it is always better being in the river than the city, or working. A fantastic lunch kept us going and a pint of Guinness helped us home for a lovely meal to make up for the lack of fishy action.
