Moments of Serenity

I am still in Portland and dad is still in the hospital. We had hoped he would be discharged today, but instead he is headed to radiology for scans to determine the cause of sudden shortness of breath. Scary time.

I went outside and walked around the hospital a bit and took a few quick pictures of these flowers. Felt like a small calm oasis in an emotionally stormy day. The barn swallows that were all over yesterday are gone today and I wonder if they were a migratory flock, just stopping for a day to provide a needed distraction.

Prayers, good thoughts, positive mojo are all appreciated.
