Vancouver - Day 10 - Street Tarot

Today has been our enforced "Chill Out" day. We've run ourselves ragged around and about British Columbia that we decided that a day at the pool, a small amount of retail therapy, some nice cocktails and a nice dinner would be enough for today.

Pool time was fun, with the pool being relatively quiet during the time we were there. Being scottish we couldn't actually deal with a time when there was sun in the sky so went early before the sun actually hit the pool/ poolside.
Done with swimming and general laziness at the pool we headed out for one last gasp as S found she had more baggage allowance to fill with products from BBW. I was also allowed to get add to this baggage allowance with a visit to the local porn shop. My purchased were a lot lighter than what S came out with, although I think I spent more.....
Early evening we decided to hit up one of the more classy hotels for pre-dinner drinks and to experience it's ambiance. The Fairmont Hotels are very classy and the drinks classier - I've also somehow got a taste for BC wine. It is very very drinkable and something I am going to see if I can purchase when I get home.

Dinner was had at CinCin. It has a very good write up in almost all the books and online reviews we've read and with this we pre-booked our table thinking it would be busy - we were not disappointed in both the food, nor how busy it was. Our early evening booking saw that the restraunt was heaving. We managed to even get an outside table (of sorts as we were in the doorway to outside, but I digress). The tomato soup was simple, but with the added complexity of a glob of goats cheese in the middle. The pizza was sublime and out of this world. I have never seen such a thin pizza, but it just added to the taste. Another recommendation that if you're ever in town. Hit this one up.
