Pamber Priory

Today is heritage open day. Lots of interesting buildings are open to the public some that are not usually open and some that usually charge are free.

All that is left of Pamber Priory is the church and a high crumbling brick and flint wall. It was founded in 1100 and dissolved in 1135. A very short lived community, but despite this in its time there were quite a large number of buildings on the site..
