Literary visitor

Tonight was the night that we choose our reading list for the next year at one of my book groups. We all shortlist about three books and describe them to the rest of the group. At the end of all the pitches, we choose our next 12 books. We have got some interesting choices this year - can't wait to get started.

This little visitor was brought in by our host's cat during the meeting. The cat released the mouse into the front room to much alarm from the book group. Our calm hostess scooped up the mouse and released it (hopefully away from feline eyes). Not a great photo as I didn't want to stress it any further by using the flash. Hope it survives further predation!
