Bruce's bonus!

Some old hands on the Edinburgh music scene might remember Bruce's record shop, which by all accounts was the sort of place every city needed to help spur on its own wave of punk bands. I never went to the store - it closed nearly 20 years before I got to Edinburgh! - but a lot of people still talk about it. Recently I met the eponymous Bruce in Edinburgh and he still has a bunch of his old 7" record bags and singles he used to release on his Zoom label - such as Edinburgh punks The Valves and their double A-side single Tarzan of the King's Road/Ain't No Surf in Portobello. So I was chuffed to bits in a music geek kind of way when he gave me the single in an "I FOUND IT AT BRUCE'S" bag. Cheers!
