Rising Full Moon

I got to thinking the other day that one of my cameras was capable of shooting multiple files at set times so I had a look and lo and behold my oldest one, a Canon Powershot S3 is Bridge Camera of a "mere" 6 megapixels has such a facility, called an Intervalometer. Well the moon was beautiful last night, so I waited until after midnight, set the camera up on a tripod outside the front door, instructing it to shoot 4 frames at 5 minute intervals. This left me with 4 files which because of the totally black sky were a doddle to merge together into ons final record of our old companion climbing acrodd the eastern sky. I'm already thinking of other possible applications.
