Waiting....

22 months 24days.

... for the dogs and cat to come out to play first thing this morning. Katie is wearing a bigger version of a very favourite hoody that she had when she was tiny. It was from Adams though, and not long after they went into administration and then closed. But it turned out clever people bought up the stock and sold it cheap on ebay. So Mummy got this one in a bigger size and put it away. It's a very generously cut and only now fits her (ok, it's rather big, but I cant resist any longer and she was very excited that it has owls on it).

We had aiden to play today. I took them both to tea and toast - Katie ran the whole way there, looking forward to seeing her friend Emma. But when we got there, she was very clingy, she cuddled for a lot of the time that we were out. Monkey is firmly attached to her when she goes out the house (he's always come along, sometimes having him in the bag is enough, but at the moment she wants cuddles with him). We then went and picked up Jack & Abbie and all had a picnic at our house. The children started sat very nicely eating their own plates, but soon started the swapsies!

Katie had a sleep and we packed them all in the car. It wasnt very long before we had three sleeping toddlers. We woke them up when we got to the swimming pool. Katie was very excited to see her swimming teacher was back after a weekend away. She was less impressed to discover that she wasnt part of the lesson that was going on! She did have a great swim though whilst the lesson happened but was straight to the lesson end of the pool the instant the dividing rope was taken out. She was just off today again, dunking herself, and swimming to the wall.

We got all the children dried, dressed and fed before heading off. After dropping Jack & Abbie off we went for Harrison from preschool. They all had tea and I dropped him off too. On the short drive home, Katie was beginning to droop - happy but very tired!
