Memories of a great day

Last Sunday we (me, eldest Daughter, boyfriend, Son, Daughter-in-Law and two Grandsons) went to a Fund Raising day for the Jet Age Museum, Gloucester.
It was held at The Flying Shack, Staverton Airport and included
Pleasure flights in a Percival Prentice
Public access to the cockpit of Vulcan XM569 nose section
BBQ
'Westy' aviation art
Jet Age Museum die cast models
'Biggles', a small bi-plane, built by the Jet Age Museum engineers, which children can sit in and be a WW1 pilot for a while.

Hopefully they will have these models in their University rooms to remind them of the early inspiration that made them want to go into aviation engineering :-) (They are currently 4 and 7)!!
