bright lights/murky water

my study abroad group went on a boat ride along the Huangpu River~
it was really nice to see all the lights shining brightly along the bund!

we got back really late and i spent a bit too long chatting with my roommate, haha~
i really enjoy that we can have full conversations in chinese with only a few pauses where we have to translate complex words/ideas.
i felt like i was back at my home university because i was practicing chinese characters past 2 a.m. ~
