Penny Bun

I checked the amethyst deceivers from yesterday's blip - they are a pale grey shadow of their formerselves, almost all the purple colouring has now gone. Today's offering is another easy one to spot - the penny bun or cep. It can grow to a substantial size.

We reached another milestone in the heathland restoration work today. Work to install water troughs has begun and will take us anoher step closer to the reintroduction of grazing by cattle, sheep and Exmoor ponies.
