Gundam

Say hello to my li'l fren...

This is Gundam.For those of you who have spent some time in Japan you may be familiar with him. "Gundam, Defender of the Universe". If you are from the states and between 30 and 50 you might remember Voltron. Similar but not the same character. Gundam was the first of the two.

While in Japan in 2009 I went with friends to Tokyo and there found an 8 story robotic version of Gundam, with glowing eyes, steam and moving head. Quite the spectacle since Transformers had just come out. I hear that they are working on a new version that will have quite a bit more movement.
