Blackford Star Party

Went out tonight after work up Blackford Hill to view Jupiter/the Moon and do some star trail photography. It didn't exactly go to plan...

Firstly it clouded over and never got completely clear, then we were bugged for over and hour by a nosey family who wouldn't leave us alone. Also I didn't dress properly so was freezing my ass off all night to the point I couldn't think clearly. To round it off the battery supply died on my telescope and it busted when I was trying to move it. Not the best night out stargazing!

Besides that we got some great views of the Moon and Jupiter plus its 4 bright moons also. I will try harder next time...
