Little shag and mountains

Gorgeous morning, managed to get out early, no work!! Was looking at the wharf in the estuary and wondering what to do with it, when this little shag popped out of the water and proceeded to pose on the wharf pile.

So what could I do but take him, especially since he was showing me his best side.

Still snow on the Southern Alps, it comes and goes as the southerly sweeps through.
