Warning - Not for the Squeamish!

"There's been a Murrrderrr!" As they used not to say on "Taggart".
During the half-hour or so before posting this crime scene blip, the victim, believed to be a Collared Dove, was cruelly done in. The culprit, suspected to be a Sparrowhawk, attempted to destroy the evidence by consuming its victim. One witness, the Collared Dove's partner fled the scene as the CSI team (me) arrived. The remaining evidence has now been removed before a certain spaniel gets her nose into it!
I know raptors have to eat too; just wish they would bushwhack their lunch/dinner/supper elsewhere!
Tomorrow, an affray in the chip shop: a haddock a-salted and battered??
