Yesterday's News

Every morning starts with reading the newspaper but I'm beginning to notice that some articles I would once have read every word now get little more than a cursory glance. Andrew Gimson has a nice sketch of what's going on in the Commons and Alan Cochrane, who I sense is a very loyal Scot, doesn't have what I call "Scotchman's Spectacles", takes a very jaundiced view of the goings on at Holyrood. Possibly he's my favourite columnist. Anyway after a few hours it's all yesterday's news and finishes up in a council recycling bin.
