Printers are the razor?

...ink is the razor blades.

It was less expensive to buy this new printer than a fresh set of inks for it's predecessor. Crazy, environmentally unsound and sad.

Same thing happened three years ago. The old one will now use compatible and cheap ink for black black and white documents.

My Epson large format printer takes inks that cost more for one cartridge than this whole printer and 5 inks combines. It however prints beautiful 100 year lightfast wall prints.
