BBC Media Bridge, Salford Quays

What a day! Soaked to the skin on the run out over Winter Hill and Darwen Moor, very exhilerating, rain turned to hail on the tops - note to dig out gloves now. Running in paths that were just torrents of water for much of the time. Afternoon spent at Salford Quays. Thought the turbulent sky summed up a day of drama on the weather front - sunshine (pm only!) and torrential rain. Goodness knows how the lads and lasses got on at Three Shires Fell Race in the Lakes today - any news?
