Decay

We went to the zoo today. There is an experiment going on into the nature of decay. Inside this glass box food of all kinds is slowly rotting. Fruit, vegetables, meat, bread, wine, cheese. mice, all decaying. The box is full of flies and larvae and general horribleness. Elder daughter was disgusted and fascinated, younger disgusted and repelled.
