Skiing

Down at Tekapo with friends, the level of enthusiasm for heading up the hill varied. So Adam and I headed up early for a mornings skiing, then meeting the rest at lunch.

On arrival Adams met some friends from school, that was virtually the last I saw of him for the day!

Met the others (and Adam) for a BBQ sausages for lunch, and then continued high speed cruisers and testing demo skis for the afternoon. Fun. Despite the overcast conditions the snow softened nicely, spring skiing!

Sadly due to weather, the Von Brown hut wasn't busy, it's one of the most fab places to have a break (a beer or a schnapps) and enjoy the view.

Back home, and then out riding for an hour. Testing a new bike, a Specialised Epic Comp 29er. Didn't like it actually.

Then dinner, and watching Ireland annihilate Aussie on the RWC. Fantastic!
