boot scraper

at the back of the shop we've been working on is a small road which helps a lot with deliveries as the road in front of the shop is HECTIC

This bootscraper is the only one I could see nearby - maybe the other buildings have had them removed as redundant

I suspect the houses here always had flats above, as they do now, and in the days of horse drawn carts and carriages it probably wasn't only mud you didn't want to bring into the house!
