Globalquerque Festival

Yuri Ynuakov opened the 7th annual festival as a replacement for Esma Redzepova. She was refused a visa after making several successful tours of the US. Perhaps Macedonia is now on the "terrorist watch list?" No visa problem for Yuri. He moved to the US after years of persecution by the socialist Bulgarian government for performing Romani music.
