Rowan Tree

One of the trees in my backyard is the Rowan tree. In both the UK and North America also known as Mountain ash. The Dutch name is Lijsterbes, which is in the English translation Trush berry. While birds - like the Trush - are fond of the berries and eat them from September till December. By that time the berries are all eaten.

Here you see a fairly large bunch of berries in the tree. I couldn't show you lots of bunches. Most of the berries are already eaten so I happen to be just in time (that is for the tree in my backyard of course) ... ;)
