Look what the postman brought!

There is something truly beautiful about a brand new, unread book. It almost makes me not want to read them!


Went with Mum to see Jane Eyre at the cinema today. When we first arrived we were the only people in the room. Was actually quite disappointed when the other fifteen turned up! (14 women; one man; all but one woman, in pairs).

Good film. But I spent most of it trying to work out who the actors I recognised were and what I'd seen them in before:

St. John Rivers - Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot)
Edward Fairfax Rochester - Michael Fassbender (Sky show Hex, with the son of my old RE teacher)
Richard Mason - Harry Lloyd (Doctor Who - Human Nature/Family of Blood)
