Melton

In Melton Mowbray today with youngest daughter Holly. Spent ages browsing around the flea market. After some negotiating with the stallholder she bought a lovely silver locket. Fruit and veg looked superb but we've got such a lot coming off the garden we didn't buy any. Walked down into Melton looking at all the market stalls, then visited Ye Olde Pie Shop on the left of the photo, the home of Dickinson & Morris's famous Melton Mowbray pork pies. Their sausage is pretty good too. Then to the pub next door, The Half Moon. And it didn't start raining until we'd walked back to the car and started driving home. Tired now.
