Living In The Past

When thinking about how to describe the size of the mushrooms growing on my lawn, the closest thing I could get to was Wagon Wheels. Not the sorry apology for Wagon Wheels that exist now, but the huge original Wagon Wheels I remember paying around 4d for back in 1970 in the school tuck shop. These were truly a biscuit to behold.
Some management whizz at Burton's Biscuit at some stage decided to make them more profitable by reducing their size progressively over the years and of course increasing the price. They'd need to be renamed Dinky Wheels or some such now...

Anyway, where was I? Oh yes, there's these huge mushrooms on my lawn...
