Al - Backside Tailslide

This is Al shredding pre-ankle blowout, when he managed to rough up the same ankle in the exact same way as last time - :(. Mad tricks going down in between the rain showers, I took a bunch of photos but they didn't really come out as well as I hoped, mainly because I have discovered that the oh-so-expensive-and-fancy Pentax AF360 FGZ Flash I bought doesn't do High Speed Sync in Wireless mode, meaning I have had to buy a Hotshoe Extension Cable to get some sweet off-camera flash jelly next time. So this is only illuminated by the on-camera flash against the sunlit background - not ideal as it covers such a tiny % of the frame. Oh well.

As well Al's back tail shout outs must also go to Shenton for amongst other things kickflip bs 5-0 AND kickflip fs 5-0, Nat for learning new stuff on the quarter, Rich for shredding bs nosegrinds like they are nothing and Aran for the nollie blunt 180 out on the quarter - madness everywhere.

Having searched skateboarding on Blip there isn't a great deal out there, at least not tagged maybe. With my titles being the person and the trick, I guess not everyone will know what a tailslide is, and how frontside and backside ones are different. To remedy this I suggest going here to the Berrics' Trickipedia page to see examples of tricks. With its huge popularity The Berrics has inevitably garnered almost as much criticism in the skate world as it has praise. At the end of the day, something this popular in skateboarding can't be a bad thing, and showcasing truly amazing skateboarding so regularly will serve to push others to aspire and improve. This can only be good.
