Pie Daniel

In Bakewell we are very lucky to have a fantastic French restaurant called Pie Daniel.
Run by Eric and his wife Christiana the food is exceptional, made with love and very keenly priced.
The lunch deal at £14 for 3 courses represents one of the best dining bargains in the UK.
Eric keeps the lunch prices down by sensibly using the cheaper cuts of meat and fish, allowing his exceptional cooking skills to show what any good cook should be able to do, deliver loads of flavour from anything that is put in front of him!
Today I had seafood cocktail, pork loin and a fantastic tarte tartin with ice cream.
A great wine list has the novelty of wine available by the pot (475ml caraffe) and linen table cloths, carafes of water and bread make this always a special occasion.
Go there its great.
