Chris and Pepe

En route to Buenos Aires I sat next to Chris, a half-South African half-American who lives in Uruguay and spent a lot of time in BA. He was taking his MinPin (miniature pinscher) Pepe to South America from the US - United is the only airline servicing the region that allows pets on board. Pepe was supposed to be kept in a cramped mesh bag/cage underneath the seat in front but he spent most of the flight hiding in Chris´s jacket. Luckily the cabin steward in our section was a total animal lover so Pepe got free reign most of the time. He did have to be tranqued up to deal with the flight though,
