No children were harmed in the making of this blip ...

I was asked to 'cover' the after-school dance club, as the dance teacher (Miss Leakey) was out on a course ...

25 highly excited children (aged between 5 and 10 years) in a confined space, expecting me to lead them in dancing to Lady GaGa, Justin Bieber and JLS ... Oh, joy ...

The children eventually got changed into their PE kits and put their clothes, shoes, bags and lunchboxes in a plastic hoop placed on the hall floor. 25 hoops for 25 children (see picture).

So far ... so good ...

I then took the register. It was during registration that one of the younger children thought that they would be extra helpful and 'tidy up' the hoop area by placing all the shirts in one hoop, all the jumpers in another and all the shoes in another, etc.

Proper teachers are meant to have eyes in the back of their heads ...

The dancing? I won't go into the details ...

Getting dressed at the end of the session was eventful. All the children went home wearing a school jumper, a shirt, a tie, tights/socks, skirts/trousers and shoes ... but not necessarily their own.

Say no more ...
