Random Connections...

It's been over 10 years since my darling Dad died - but even today I found myself, in the midst of running around in an incredibly busy day, thinking unconsciously "Oh, I must tell my Dad about that..." I've no idea if it's your heart, brain or soul that controls that kind of thing, but so powerful...

The significant of this little chap? A character from a long forgotten cartoon, but he reminds me of my Dad - we've got a great shot of him from his time in the RAF out in the desert, with a pith-style helmet, big shorts and skinny legs. It makes me smile - it's a connection, however random.
