Fire in the Forge

I couldn't wait. When I got home from work this afternoon I fired up the forge with the fan I have been working on for the past few days. It worked a treat. The heat from the fan just sitting next to the air intake was enough to heat the coke and in turn make the steel red hot. If I left it in there longer it would have melted the steel.

This gives me the option to take my time about making my things of steel.
