Gone to seed

This is in my so called garden (a yard between the front gate and front door). Here we mostly have pots of herbs and some lillies that you'll be seeing in due course when they come out.

I know you're supposed to nip the flowers off chives so you'll get more leaves, but I just grow it for the flowers really. So pretty.

Slow day today. Bracing myself for a big family lunch with the in laws tomorrow. We have to tell them we're 'stealing' their grandchildren away for a month in the US. Should be a nice relaxing time...
