It was back to college tonight for the first time since we broke up for the summer hols in June. The college spent the summer moving from it's orginal three buidings into one central new building down in Granton, and most certainly, 'you can [still] tell it's Telford'.

Don't get me wrong its a lovely new building and most of it is nice, but not a lot seems to work yet. The computers don't have power, there is no internet, no student IDs to access the library and printers, and walls looks like big untreated concrete blocks - it's either that or they have run out of money and have went for this 'modern look' instead.

I'm sure it will all be great when it's up and running, but until then we have reverted to the good old pen and paper.
