Franz Joseph trip

Today we went for a trip down to Franz Joseph, it was a really wet journey and I wasn't holding out much hope for many good views. Just before we reached Frans there was a spring at the side of the road, the water was so clear you could see right to the bottom and it was deep.

I chose this shot because I like the reflections and you can see in the background how miserable the weather was.

It was a great day and we walked through the forest to see the glacier, went to the hot pools to relax and I saw a 5 day old baby Kiwi. Very impressive.
