more expense.............

...........last night a 4x4 forced me off a country lane onto a verge which burst my tyre. Two wonderful men helped me - the first stopped his car and lent me his phone (mine had no signal on the remote lane where we were), the second, a cyclist, stopped and said he's wait with me until the lovely Mr E. arrived as it was getting dark and he felt I might be vulnerable in a remote area. He decided he could change the tyre for the spare and did it very quickly and efficiently. When Mr E. arrived it was all done.
It just meant spending a small fortune today to get a new tyre!
