Wedding guests

T and K in their finery. T's morning coat just fits but he can undo the buttons if necessary! The wedding is in the next valley and there will be a lot of old friends and farming people there. N and I were asked but N is not quite strong enough yet to enjoy the church service, reception, dinner and dance.

About half an hour before this photograph was taken T arrrived in the kitchen black from head to toe having just sheeted down the silage pit and arranged tyres on top to prevent the plastic from blowing away. He took a shower, ate his lunch of lamb chops, mashed potato and spinach with gravy and quickly changed.

Meanwhile this afternoon some of the cows and calves had escaped into the stubble field. I was able to put most of them back but they have returned so we will leave them there until tomorrow.
