In support of our Palestinian friends

Tonight we went to a wonderful and inspirational evening with Reem Kelani and her band at the Square Chapel in Halifax. Yet again, I was moved to tears by her - what a woman! She does wonders in the name of world peace!
This was the moment when she insisted that all the arab speakers in the audience came up on stage to sing with her! Afterwards - my lovely 15 year old Annie said that it had made her wish that she was arabic! She also decided that she needs to learn the language!!! Thank you Reem Kelani for opening so many eyes and hearts!
