Apple somethings

In danger of not getting through all the fruit in this week's box so mushed some apples, cinnamon and nutmeg, delicately arranged on a sheet of puff pastry, folded a bit to make parcels, bunged in the oven for a bit and voila. Pudding for the kids and a starter for me as we watch the latest Outnumbered offering. Sunday loveliness.

As was: bike ride with J along the river this morning, finding time to do some weeding and tidying in the garden, roast chicken lunch eaten outside in the sun, a local mooch and an unexpected popping by of lovely friends.

Later there will be leftover fish pie, catching up with two Doctor Who's and maybe even Spooks. Not sure we'll be able to stay up that late but dragging out this Sunday would be a good thing.
