All change.

Edinburgh- that's all

Today was doors open day in Edinburgh - something to do with the European Heritage Days. All I know is that in the last weekend in September we always get to go inside some buildings we generally can't get in.

Last year we had great views from the top of Quartermile and had fun at the Fire Museum. In previous years we have also enjoyed Surgeons Hall and the Anatomy Lab at the Uni. Mm, not appropriate for Toots and Pip !!

Him indoors wanted to go to the Craigmillar Police Station where there were mounted police. Great. But I have a serious allergy to horses so maybe not.

This was top of my list - the Observatory and home of astrophysics at the Uni.

We had a ball - saw the big (old) telescope (captured by Clix) and the girls were great.

Telescopes, scientists, moon globes. All quite inspiring.

Oh and the view. Did I mention the view? Wow. What a view.

This is Edinburgh. Stopped in time.

Happy Sunday. See you all soon.
