Sharp Points

My sewing machine offers a choice of 37 stitches, I've probably used about 4. I've tried my hand at a number of different projects, quite a few of which have resulted in me cursing a lot and reaching for the unpicking tool.

The worst thing that can happen is the needle snapping part way through a project. Who knew there were so many combinations of shapes and sizes of needles for different uses, it's not just a case of thread and go. Sharp points are ok for woven fabrics, don't attempt to use them on leather - they snap. Safety goggles required!
