Globe Artichoke flower

Decided to blip early, even though it was raining. I love the colour of the artichoke flowers they seem to be more lilac than blue this year. The bees love them but too damp today. I'm off to Cork to take friends to the airport, then a visit to eldest daughter Rosie, outside Kinsale, we took a lovely walk on the beach, then she and her housemate cooked supper,which was delicious. Finally I called in on a gig in Bantry, on my way home, a girlfriends band were playing, even managed a dance, full on day!
