A dream come true

It's hard work turning three. You have to open so many gifts before you get to the one you've been asking for for months-a purple pillow pet. Then you have to not put it down the rest of the day plus take it for rides in the wagon up and down the street while the butterfly cousin watches.

A splendid weekend, this was. Yesterday-a grown-up birthday party. Today-a kid birthday party. I could get used to all this partying.
