Chrisaxon (Peru 9/16)

Chrisaxon is the name of this boy who lives near our last camp site. I communicated with him a bit in Spanish. We played fake baseball together, he gathered a group of newborn puppies around him, and he taught us how to use his slingshot, which he was scarily proficient with. It turns out I'm good at balancing a stick on the palm of my hand. I won that game, whatever game that was.

A good kid and one of the few experiences I had with a local that wasn't completely tarnished by some kind of expected monetary exchange.
