Jam packed Saturday...

Early start for a Saturday...5.30am rise to get Es out to Blair Drummond Safari Park for 6.30am!

I woke up an hour earlier and noticed my alarm clock was blank...a few minutes later it started flashing so we'd obviously had a powercut...quickly set the alarm on my phone for an hour ahead...quicker than faffing with the clock at that time.

Es had to be at Blair Drummond for that time because she had a ticket to be part of the studio audience for the live broadcast of Live n' Deadly...a CBBC show. I had thought I would drop her off and maybe head back to bed but didn't get home until an hour later by which time I was wide awake...so I opted for a run instead:-)

Rest of the day looked like this:

Golf lesson with Rooster
Pick up Es - do pushy mother bit to get her photograph with presenters;-)
Home pick up bicycle
Cycle to town for present shopping
Home wrap presents get Rooster ready for birthday party
Take Rooster to Party
Couple of hours breather-balanced the cheque book
Collected Rooster...Es picked up for her Party
Took the Rooster and the Fangle for a fantastic walk round Airthrey loch. It was a really beautiful Autumn day...and we found a cache to boot:-)
Frankie and Benny's for pizza
Home in time for Es to arrive back from her party
Cup of tea
Bed...exhausted but happy a really good Saturday:-)
