As You Were

If you were like me as a kid you probably used to build forts out of the sofa cushions and then never put them back when you were finished playing. Well in truth nothing has changed except the sofa cushions are now the left over building materials for our unfinished flat downstairs which is now our band's makeshift studio.

I'd put up great big slabs of gyp board against the raw wooden frames and glass windows to try and improve the acoustics but it only made the place feel very claustrophobic. You wouldn't believe how much dust was in there either; that's all been swept out now and now that it's all opened up again it has a much nicer vibe. I'm no feng shui expert but I think we can channel that creative energy better now ;)
