Eggs

A friend of mine was over for dinner on Sunday. He owns a home stead to the north of Wellington and gifted a couple of boxes of eggs from his 'chooks' (no one in NZ seems to call them chickens).

I'm looking forward to cracking them open because home produced eggs are 100 times better than anything you can buy at the supermarket.

I also love the variety of colours the shells come in. The one in the centre, eggshell blue I'd say, is my favourite.
