Looks Good To Me

Pézenas

We had lunch with friends in Pézenas, a charming small town (pop. 8,000) close to where we were staying. Lord Clive of India was here in 1768, and reputedly provided the recipe for petit pâté de Pézenas, a tiny sweet/savory pie, similar to the British so-called mincemeat pie.

There were lots of good photo opportunities at the Saturday market and in the narrow streets of the old quarter. (I got yelled at for photographing the pottery at one of the market stalls.) My blip photo was taken in the 14th century Jewish ghetto.
