Happy

A day off today to attend a couple of meetings at the school regarding the kids and then an open evening at the local high school in preparation for Es's move up next year.

Meetings at the school in the morning went well.

After them nipped into town with Mr R and the Fangle to sort out some stuff for Es's fancy dress sponsored ride. Sneaked in a wee lunch in Costa.

Back home to pick the kids up from school, homework, get to grips with a work situation that had developed over the afternoon, quick bolting of dinner and out the door to the open evening dropping the Buncle off en route at a friends house so they could take him to cubs with their wee boy.

Es will attend the same high school that I went to all be it in a different building. The building I went too was demolished a few years back. So for me it was interesting to see round the new building. There was one teacher there this evening that was there back in my day:-/

A fairly easy going and informative evening. Es seems to be looking forward to it...I'm a wee bit nervous but hiding it well I think!
